yes because people are starting to take it for granted and uses it against people for their own selfish gain exploiting it to make people feel bad
ReplyDeleteyes.. becuz people are starting to think they are to good for other people and taking people kindness for weakness and make some people feel more less
ReplyDeleteYes, I do believe that love has become a cheap currency due to moral decline. I say this because many people use love as an excuse to get what they want, most of it being material things and wealth. Others use love to manipulate people and they take it for granted.

Yes, i agree that love has become a cheap currency due to moral decline. Today a lot of people tell their significant other that they are in love with them and they are truly not. The reason people do that is to somehow further them in life or to make their own life better. These people have no morals and are selfish because they are using someone's emotion against them
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree srongly that love has become a cheap currency due to moral decline. People today are taking love for granted. Love is not about u being with a person because you guys look cute together. People have their disdainfully put their morals aside and treat love as if it is about a certain image. One example of this is Daisy and Tom and Myrtle and George. Daisy is with Tom becaue they are cute together. Myrtle and George are together because Myrtle believes he is a nice guy and he isnt worthy of having her. When in actuality Tom and Myrtle really want each that is why they are having an affair.

I agree that love has become a cheap currency due to moral decline. In my opinion, people today are all about money and materialistic things. People used to marry because they were truly in love, but now-a-days you hear of women marrying into rich families, having children and divorcing all to get money out of there ex-husbands to live that luxurious life they've always wanted. Also i watched a news segment that was on about a month ago, and the newscast was discussing a woman that had paid off someone to kill her husband so he would receive his life insurance check. To me, most marriages and relationships are no longer based on love, but how the relationship will benefit you financially .

ReplyDeleteYes, love has become a cheap currency due to moral decline. Love has been taken for granted. People don't really understand the meaning of love. Due to moral decline you really don't care about love, one will say they love someone just to get what they want not because they really and truly love them.
ReplyDeleteno i still think love is still cherished i just think its more rare than before . rather than cheap currency its become a way more expensive currency that only a few have or can reach . so people walk around saying they in love because they cant find it just like how people walk around saying they have money but they really dont . people give up on love thats why they settle for less or fake it . people face moral decline because they cant find true love .
ReplyDeleteYes, i do believe that love has become a cheap currency when it comes to material things. people buy things just to make a person feel good, but if you break it then the love is gone. not everybody buy's people's love with materials, but it is well known that people do that just to get what they want.for example that's like a guy saying i'll buy you a house or a car, everybody know's that houses's and car's are exspensive these day's so they would most likely take up the offer. But the point that im trying to say is love is not worth buying. I believe that if you truely love somebody then material has nothing to do with love. I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with a person buyhing yuh everything you want and need, but a person can't buy you happiness.
ReplyDeleteLove has become a cheap currency due to moral decline because people that are not mentally complete meaning that they have issues reguarding their moral decline use love for personal gains. They try and find love because they think it may help exit them 4rm the unforgiving state of decreasing morals. They dont even try to find true love they just find easy love, love that wont mean anything to them but maybe sexual interactions because that is another reason why people claim to 'love' someone.

i disagree their really isnt a true definition of love. love is your own personal oppinion. Everybody oppinion is different to what they thing love is. So their really isnt a such thing as true love, For instance some people may say that true love is something that yor faithful towards the person your in love with and so on and then if like a person in the relationship does something bad then its not true love anymore. Love is something you choose a decision you make to yourself nobody can really say your in love only you can. So if you allow people or love to change your oppinion or change your morals, then that is your problem.
ReplyDeleteToday, love is taken advantage. Meaning, people pretends to love to recieve good. It realy depends on the person that is using "love". Love is still cherished, but a bit over rated for young people. Then again, it has been taken for granted and is use for the wrong needs. People use love because they believe it will help them succeed in life 100%. Love can get you caught in a bubble that will never pop. "You can lose yourself trying to find someone else."
ReplyDeleteto me love has become a cheap currency do to moral decline, because people somtimes just look at there body or face and say that they love them but all they really feel is lust. some people use love for there on selfish gain for sex or something else, but its not for love thats in the hart and in feelings between a male and female.
ReplyDeletelove has become a cheap currency to moral decline love that wont mean anything to them but maybe sexual interactions based on people personality.
ReplyDeleteI feel that in some cases but not all, love has become a cheap currency because of moral decline. Many people these days don't value love like they used to, much like money. The worth of love isn't as precious as it used to be and is often confused with lust or something less valuble.
ReplyDeleteFor example, Tom Buchanan doesn't value his love with Daisy if he's cheating on her. He takes her for granted and doesn't appreciate the love she gives him.

I believe that love has become a cheap currency, because many people today take love for granted and they think iys all about the money. People get married to someone with alot of money and then divrce and take all there half of there money. Many people dont know the true meaning of love because they base it off of whats they person has or how rich he is but it about how you feel about that person
ReplyDeleteI definately agree with Kali, love can become a cheap currency due to a moral decline.People in our modern world use the world love to get what they want.As Kali said some women plan to marry and divorce a wealthy man for his money. Some guys lie to girls and tell them they love themjust to get in them jeans. Its come to the point where its not a feeling anymore its just something you say to make things sound better or create a delusion. I wont say this is true for all people but i will say it is for some.
ReplyDeleteIn some cases, love could possibly be a cheap currency depending on the person and how they feel. So people are legitiment about their feelings. Others use the word to get what they want.
ReplyDeleteI agree that love is beginning to be a cheap currency. Not in all but some situations people use love for their personal benefit and not the one they say they love. Some people only get married to a certain spouse because of his/her wealth and fame. The moral decline comes in to play when people start to think that they take advantage of others.
ReplyDeletei think love has become a cheap currency due to moral decline because people get with each other for the wrong reasons. although some people get wwit each other for love, its more likely that the reason someone is in a relationship is because of something that doesnt matter
ReplyDeleteDEFINATELY, I say this because I know people who selfishly use "love" to get what they want out of another person, carelessly playing with their emotions. Love has become worthless, especially among the younger generation. We live in a world today that consists of households were the father is non-existant, young boys no longer have that male figure there to show them how to be a man and treat a lady. Young girls are having to experience life on there own, and figure things out by themselves. Although it may not be all cases, but mothers have stepped down from their roles as the guiders of these young girls. Young women are going through life having to experience things without knowing what they are, they may think they are in "love" but in reality its "lust". Love has become more of a physical connection, than a mental and emotional one. Love has lost its value, is taken for granted. Moral decline has contributed to this because ultimately it comes down to how much men appreciate women and vice versa. It has a lot to do with the role of the male in female in a relationship. Historically the female submits to her husband, but in the era of strong willed outspoken young women this idea is frowned upon. Historically men are the bread winning, providers of the family, and in the era of individuality and new thinking this idea is less appealing.
ReplyDeleteyes....because people say they
ReplyDeletefall in love but they really love the money or just like to be popular...some people love to fit in a crowd....also some people break their morals...a rule they promise they'll never break... sometimes we fall in love (or say we did) just to say we tried it
Yes I agree love is a cheap currency due to moral decline among people.Love is not for everyone. There's diffrent people in the world. Love comes and goes. Some people want the money, car, clothes, and house. But when you think about it its materialistic . As in the young generation of us and they say they "love" each other its just an phase. Love can be many types of definitions. Me love is a strong word and you can not use it on some people. But can love be everlating? No.... Once you get in a long relation ship some couples might fall apart with that I mean one person might not feel the same any more. And etc...Thank You
ReplyDeleteyes, because now and days girls do not look at boys based on their character but on how they dress, what they do around other people, how much they spend and what they can do for the girl.that also goes in vice-versa.
ReplyDeleteYES!, there are so any interpretations on LOVE. you may change your ways and yourself, for that person because u believe your expectations for them must also include you. money is one of the main issues people have with interpreting love. love isnt the moral decline it's the self - delusion that people post on it that causes people to make love seem like its money, or any other material object.
ReplyDeleteI feel that love indeed has become a cheap currency because of people's moral decline. People have lowered their expectations of what love is composed of. They feel that they must "be in love" to live a fulfilled life. Others are also in relationships due to financial problems, "saying the economy is too bad to break up now." If you have no morals, your definition of love may be different, therefore making it a cheap currency.

I agree that Love is a cheap currency nowadays becuase people have taken the true meaning of love and have put negative use to it ,many people think love is is showering their significant other with gifts and things instead of that emotional connection they are suppose to have wit one another ,so if your morals are already out "the door" then your perception of love will always be negative thus making it a cheap currency .
ReplyDeletenoo i think its all about how u look at it.....people around shouldnt affect your opinion of the idea
ReplyDeleteYes I believe that love has became a cheap currency due to moral decline, because people think that you have to spoil your significant other with florid things. They are fooling themselves, because all they're doing is buying the other persons affection with there materialistic ways. This results into moral decline because you keep buying these things to make your 'LOVED' one happy and sooner or later all of your wealth will become minimized. So has love, in your opinion became a cheap currency due to moral decline among people, yes it has.
ReplyDeleteI disagree because what if someone loved someone before they knew about their financial status.. if you love somebody and they have money then you just got lucky . Though some people are "gold diggers" , their lack of moral concern shouldnt be put upon those who value love and just so happened to get the money with it .

ReplyDeleteI agree. Love is a cheap currency in todays world. Love is more of an emotional connection that you are supposed to have with your partner. Now it's seen as constantly giving them things other than love itself. Lots of times people marry someone because of the money within the other family. Divorce rates are high today. People will go against their morals to get what they want .
ReplyDeleteYes, because some people use love for all the wrong reasons. And love is has more to do with feelings rather than just to get what you want.
ReplyDeleteThis relates to moral decline, because some people are changing everything that they believe in,all becausee they want to please that person knowing that its wrong .

I would have to say that people use "LOVE" to their benefits. They arent honestly in love. Its just another way of getttingg what you want no matter who you have to step on to get it, and if its "LOVE" that they benefit from then so be it!! :) People arent to concern on actual feeelings! This is true in most relationships with wealthy couples i.e celebrities...or people with money! Some couples are open to the fact that their only with one another for certain things or benefits! but yes love has, in my opinion, became a cheap currency due to moral decline among people ?
ReplyDeletelove nowadays is more about if he has money if he has cute clothes etc. Most ppl dont really love especially teens and young adults. im not saying that all of them dont love but most. Love is more about money and if he can supply me with things when it should be about who they r. It has been a big moral decline because when they see celebrities and such they think they should have that as well soo they look to "love" someone with money or big cars and things like that.
ReplyDeleteHarper Miles
i disagree, yet i agree.
ReplyDeletesome people take love for granted and use it to benefit themselves, without concern for the others affected, and eventually hurt. Their "love" encorporates the unessentials such as money and the cars, the clothes and being succesful. This is not what love is composed of, you might be in love but not with the person. But with the material possesions.
however, some people(such as myself)have not been corrupted such as others. there are some who still value and respect the concept of love. They understand that love has nothing to do with the outter looks or the money and wealth. But how the people communicate and work out their problems. Also, how they treat each other.
love is just way for people to feel good about there selfs when they know the got someone else that they may think love them and also the word gets tosted around too much dont say unless you really mean it and also its kind of like a seld delusion people just want to say say they think they love each other and lie to thereslefs about it long enought unill they ascutally believe it
ReplyDeleteYes, I think love has had a moral decline because everybody says it all the time and dont really mean it. It start off as people saying it only when they mean it, and it was a very strong word. But not anymore it really dont mean nothing now
ReplyDeletei disagree love is still held to a high standard and appreciated just as it always has.
ReplyDeletesome people might take it for granted but overall it is still very prominent in the heart of many.
and they do not pursue material possesions but what their hearts desire
yes , I think love can lead to moral decline because a person might say that they love you but in the end it was only said to make you feel special.
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe love has become a cheap currency, for the simple fact that their intentions of "falling in love" is just a tool used to further ones deasires and accomplishments. These people are inconsiderate and have no respect for themselves
ReplyDeleteDefinitley. people now an days are stuck up. people take others for granted and only want to be in a relationship with a person that do whatever they say. Love in todays society has changed due to motives and intentions of certain indivduals.
ReplyDeleteYes i think love has, because some people say they love someone juss to say that, when in actuality they dont. Some people think that love is what makes life better
ReplyDeleteyes i agree love has become a cheap currency and a moral decline. Now a days people are just taking love for granted and saying they love each other but can't really define the true meaning of love. Couples used to set aside there moral values to find there true love, but all you see is people needing someone for the wrong reasons.
ReplyDeleteno think love is still hard to cum by n wen u find it u dont tak for granted u appreciate it and cherish it for as long as possible
